Dear patients,

I warmly welcome you to the webpages of my private practice for holistic, integrative and functional medicine focusing on classical homeopathy, ayurvedic medicine, nutrition and psychotherapy.

I practice as a medical doctor in Berlin Steglitz Zehlendorf. Children and adults with acute or chronic sicknesses are very welcome (physician, family doctor, general practitioner, functional medicine practitioner).

Family medicine in Berlin, Germany: Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Psychotherapy

My passion lies within the holistic medical view of patients, the bio-psycho-social relations in the emergence of diseases, and a healthy lifestyle. I combine profound conventional medical knowledge and alternative therapies to prove you with an optimized holistic therapy. While striving to reap the benefits of a gentle treatment, I always consider the limitations of these from a rational medical point of view.

I am a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) in the US where I am continuously receiving training. Functional medicine belongs to my favorite treatment approaches since it is truly holistic and at the same time deeply scientific.

For me it is essential to discover and embrace every patient's individuality to be able to detect the root causes for disease and its sustaining factors. Even in chronic conditions improvement and healing are possible. In addition to the integrative medical interventions it usually takes time, patience and trust to achieve these.

I successfully completed "Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP)", "Re-Establishing Hormonal Balance in the Hypothalamic, Pituitary, Adrenal, Thyroid, and Gonadal Axis", "Clinical Solutions for Mitochondrial and Metabolic Dysfunction" and "Restoring Gastrointestinal Equilibrium: Practical Applications for Understanding, Assessing and Treating Gut Dysfunction" (all IFM Advanced Practice Modules), "Resistance, Resilience, and Recovery: Patient Care in a Pandemic" (at IFM) and "ReCODE 2.0: A comprehensive protocol for the reversal of the cognitive decline in individuals with early Alzheimer's disease, MCI; SCI, or those at risk for cognitive decline" (The Bredesen Protocol, Certified RECODE 2.0 practitioner).

In order to have enough time for each patient, I work as a private physician. Private insurances usually cover the costs of treatment. Public insurances don't, although you can also pay out of pocket.
